The "Pear It Down" Journey...
nāmasté and welcome!
"Pear it Down" is home to several design and interior architecture inspirations - showcasing some of my portfolio, sketches, concepts, process as well as some of my original art, photography and DIYs - much of it being rooted in my ancestral home of India as well as several decades of rich, collective wisdom from having lived in 3 countries and traveling to over 40 countries across all 7 continents : )
My core design "style" is an interdisciplinary nexus between mid-century modern, French country, Japanese aesthetics and contemporary tropical Indian. I am profoundly drawn to nature and its many evolving, organic forms, geometry, adaptability, varied textures etc. which is reflected in the colors, fabrics, materials, decor and interior architecture of my design practice. I also embrace a deep passion for adopting sustainable, climate and environment-friendly practices as a way of life. I am especially interested in how rooms and spaces are in conversation with one another, hence creating a unique integrated aesthetic, design rhythm and functional flow.
